Pet Helpers is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is supported primarily from private donations from individuals, businesses, and foundations. At Pet Helpers, we make every dollar make a difference.
Do you know how far those dollars go? Your dollars go directly toward medical needs, food, behavior, socialization, and daily care of our cats and dogs. On average, Pet Helpers cares for about 150 animals per day, and care for each animal costs $20 or more per day.
There are many ways to support the mission of Pet Helpers! They include donating, becoming a monthly champion, sponsoring a pet, shopping at our ReTail Store, or utilizing other ways to donate!

You can ensure the legacy of loved ones lives on through a charitable gift to Pet Helpers. The charity inspired by your friend, family member, or beloved pet will ensure that we can continue to provide the highest quality care to our animals now, and in the future.
Please complete the donor form, including the “Additional Information” section that requests contact information for the person you would like us to notify of your gift. If you would like to include a special message to the notificant, please include that in the Comments section of the form. Notification letters are generally mailed within one to two weeks of your donation.
Dixie Emergency Medical Fund
Dixie’s Emergency Medical Fund is used when a Pet Helpers’ animal needs care that is above and beyond regular veterinary care. The fund is named after our beloved Dixie, a Pet Helpers dog who needed extensive surgical and veterinary care when she was rescued. After being treated for her injuries, Dixie lived a remarkable 14 years with her forever family. Dixie’s Fund was established in her honor to help animals just as she was helped. Your donation to the Dixie Emergency Medical Fund supports the Pet Helpers commitment to every animal, no matter what.
Employer Matching Gift program
Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Some provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift!
