Kids C.A.R.E. Club
Join the Club!
Does your child foster a love of animals and want to give back? Are you searching for a volunteer opportunity to meet your child’s needs? Look no further! Sign them up for the Kids C.A.R.E. Club where kids ages 8-15 will learn more about compassion, respect and empathy in the animal welfare world!
Club members will have the opportunity to create a variety of enrichment toys, lend a hand in keeping the shelter grounds tidy, or help with veterinary clinic needs. Plus an opportunity to get some hands-on animal socialization time!
Volunteer sessions will be held on select Tuesdays each month from 3:00-4:30pm. Use the link below to sign up for a date that fits your schedule! Don’t wait! Spaces fill up fast!
The Kids C.A.R.E. Club is open to children ages 8-15. A $15.00 tax-deductible donation per visit guarantees you a spot in the club!

*Participants must wear clothes that can get messy and closed-toe shoes with rubber soles.
*Kids C.A.R.E. Club is designed for kids. Parents/guardians please feel free to drop off/pick up your child for this event.
At-Home Youth Volunteer Opportunities
Looking for more ways to get involved? Help us provide comfort and entertain the many animals in our care by completing a volunteer activity at home! Include your neighbors and classmates as well!
Host a supply drive. Schools, teams, and organizations are welcome to host supply drives for Pet Helpers using our Amazon and Chewy Wish Lists! Items can be sent directly to our shelter (make sure to include a gift receipt), or can be donated in bulk at the shelter! Make sure to create your own marketing materials! Create a social media post to reach more donors and tag us in your efforts!
Go on a scavenger hunt. Many items on our wish lists may be found right under your own roof! We accept gently worn towels and blankets, unopened cat and dog food, and unopened jars of creamy peanut butter and canned pumpkin!
Create an enrichment toy! Check out our enrichment gallery and make it at home! Gather supplies, invite your friends and enjoy giving back to the animals in need!
Read to cats. Check out our Furry Tales program! Enjoy reading and socializing with some furry feline friends.
