Pillow Party

📅 Friday, May 16th | ⏰ 12 PM – 3 PM
📍 Sewing Down South – 493 King Street, Charleston, SC

The Pillows are Plush, the Pups are Precious, and the Vibes are Immaculate

Ready to hit “OOO” on your email and take a well-deserved midday escape?
You’re officially invited to the most feel-good Friday event in Charleston. Whether you’re a longtime local, a devoted dog lover, or just someone who can’t resist a blue and yellow lemon print, this is the event that belongs on your calendar.

To celebrate four incredible years of Sewing Down South’s flagship King Street store, we’re throwing a pup-filled, pillow-stacked summer celebration — and you’re invited to soak it all in.
Think of it as retail therapy + pet therapy, with a splash of Charleston sunshine.

Why You Need to Be There:

• Adoptable Dogs on Site!
Get your serotonin boost by snuggling some sweet, adoptable dogs from Pet Helpers. They’re here to melt hearts, spark connections, and maybe even head home with you.

• Shop the Summer Collection
Explore the latest Sewing Down South summer styles — featuring European-inspired blue and yellow lemon patterns that will bring a fresh and playful vibe to your space. Pillows, accessories, home touches… it’s all here.

• Anniversary Surprises
We’re celebrating SDS’s 4th anniversary in style — and while we’re not sure what the traditional 4-year gift is, we think a pup might just be the perfect way to mark the occasion.

• Charleston Charm at Its Finest
From the King Street buzz to the sweet sounds of joy echoing from the store steps, this is a one-of-a-kind Charleston moment you won’t want to miss.

Bring Your Friends. Take a Long Lunch. Call in “Pillow Fever.”

This isn’t just an adoption event. It’s a celebration of what makes life cozy, cute, and full of heart.
Come pet the pups, pick out a new pillow (or three), snap a photo with the perfect aesthetic, and maybe even meet your future furever companion.

Whether you’re just stopping by or spending the afternoon strolling King Street, this is your excuse to treat yourself—and help a pup find a forever home.
