Learn Lifesaving Skills at Our Pet CPR Training Class – A Fundraiser for Pet Helpers

Have you ever witnessed a veterinary emergency and wished you could do more to help? Now, you can equip yourself with the knowledge and skills to make a difference. Pet Helpers, in partnership with Blue Pearl Pet Hospital, is proud to present a Pet CPR Training Class on Saturday, September 21, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at James Island Town Hall.

This class was created in partnership with pet owner Katrina Train, to empower pet owners and caregivers with the tools they need to respond effectively in critical situations. While this is not a certification course, you will learn vital techniques that could save the life of a pet in an emergency. Blue Pearl Pet Hospital’s expert team will guide you through hands-on training using stuffed animals, so you’ll leave with the confidence to provide temporary urgent care until professional veterinary help can be reached.

Please note that pets are not permitted at this event to ensure a focused and safe learning environment.

If you’d like to contribute to Pet Helpers, we greatly appreciate donations of much-needed supplies such as dry and canned dog and cat food, litter, and basic cleaning supplies. Whether you’re attending the CPR event or not, you’re welcome to drop off items to help support the animals in our care.
